'Building A Better Brain for Every Generation' Community Forum

Saturday, September 28, 2019, 4:30 PM

Are Alzheimer's disease and dementia the same? Did you know that 30% of global dementia can be prevented through lifestyle changes? Can genetics and the environment affect health disparities? If you want to have these questions addressed and more, you should make plans to join Big Bethel AME Church, in partnership with the Goizueta Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Emory University, for a Community Brain Health Forum on Saturday, September 28, 2019.  Doors open at 8:00 am. Program begins at 9:30am. This forum will provide valuable information about brain health, Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, healthy living, and how genetics and the environment factor into health disparities.  Refreshments will be provided. Confidential memory screenings will take place at 8:00 am. Contact Crystal Davis at 404-727-6996 for more information. Agenda will follow!
