Roswell Reads Literary Luncheon - 2020

Saturday, March 14, 2020, 11:00 AM

The Roswell Reads Steering Committee has chosen the The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson as the 2020 Roswell Reads book selection. Inspired by the true and historical blueskinned people of Kentucky and the brave and dedicated Kentucky Pack Horse library service, The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek showcases a first in literary novels—a bold and unique story about the Kentucky Blue people and Packhorse Librarians — a tale of fierce strength and one woman’s belief that books can carry us anywhere — even back home. Conveying a powerfulmessage about how the written word affects people, the novel is a story of hope and heartbreak, raw courage and strength splintered with poverty and oppression, and one woman’s chances beyond the darkly hollows.  FAQs  Overflow parking at Groveway Park entrance on Oxbo Road.  Please carpool if possible.  Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? roswellreads@gmail.com  Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, but its helpful if you do.   The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? Yes
