Magnificat! at the Cathedral of St Philip / Atlanta Baroque Orchestra and The Cathedral Schola

Saturday, October 12, 2019, 2:30 AM

The Atlanta Baroque Orchestra once again teams up with the Cathedral Schola to present one of J.S. Bach’s most celebratory works. Prepare for a dazzling display of solos and choruses enhanced by a colorful array of instruments including trumpets, timpani, woodwinds and strings. Paired with the Magnificat is Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D Major, a spirited tour de force including the soulfully atmospheric Air popularly known as the “Air on the G String.” FAQs Are tickets refundable? ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  NO REFUNDS.  Please be sure that your order is correct before purchasing on line.  The Friends of Cathedral Music is a non-profit organization.  Your ticket purchases go toward support the music programs that we provide as we cannot cover the costs completely.  The programs are also supported by many donors who give support well beyond the purchase of tickets to concerts.  Please consider offering any tickets you cannot use to friends or family that might enjoy the concert.  Thank you for your understanding. Can I purchase tickets to other concerts? Yes.  Please click this link  http://www.stphilipscathedral.org/Music/Concerts/  to learn about and purchase tickets for other upcoming concerts.  That link should open in a new  window but you must come back to this window to complete your purchase of tickets for this concert. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Parking is available.  You may access the Cathedral parking lot from Peachtree Road directly across from the intersection with Rumson Road.  There is a traffic light at this intersection.  You may also access the parking lot from Andrews Drive.  For this concert, if the volume of advance ticket sales seems to necessitate it, there may be additional parking available across Peachtree Road in the Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church parking lot with shuttle service to the concert.  What about electronic devices? Absolutely no photography, video recording, or sound recording is allowed during the concert.  Silence or turn off all electronic devices including cell phones or tablets during the concert. Please respect for your fellow concert attendees who paid to enjoy the concert without distractions such as talking, texting, or any use of electronic devices such as cell phones or tablets.  Do I have to bring my ticket to the event? If you have a Patron ticket printed online or a Mobile ticket that indicates that it is for two attendees BOTH attendees must be present at the time of presenting the ticket.  Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
