Hailing from Perth, Australia, Jessie Gordon is not only an immensely talented and versatile performer, whose stage presence and innate sense of how to build rapport with a crowd is second to none and has earned her a solid and loyal following the world over, BUT …she is also the niece of High Cotton’s Walter and Pam Gordon, and the daughter of Walter’s brother, John. In fact, Billy Kidd, the fearless leader of John’s Hart County High School Class of 1965, has requested a separate performance at High Cotton just for his classmates to gather and celebrate the Hartwell debut of Ms. Gordon. Friday, October 4this “HCHS Class of ’65 Night”, and then Jessie returns to the stage Saturday, October 5thfor a second night to wow the High Cotton audience. Don’t miss this long-awaited event! Jessie Gordon is a 15-time Fringe World Music and Cabaret award winning singer, musician and teacher, living and breathing her passion of jazz, blues, and roots music. Singing since she was 15 years old, Jessie has fronted everything from jazz duos to big bands, and has toured Europe, Asia and Australia.
