Day Trip: Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park
The Spartanburg Interfaith Alliance invites you to join them as they take a one day trip to Atlanta, Georgia to learn more about the African American struggle for civil rights in America and the role that religion played in that struggle. Explore Dr. King's church where he shared a pulpit with his father for eight years. Learn more about the roots of the man who inspired hundreds to boycott and march for their basic civil rights. Please note that we will meet at the parking lot of First Presbyterian Church Spartanburg (393 East Main Street Spartanburg, SC 29302) and will board a bus to travel to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site. ***To complete a trip registration form, please contact Jasmine Guest at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.***
